Some families want help with homeschooling
  • Dislike where you currently are but not sure what to do next

Some families feel stuck in their child's educational journey
  • New to homeschooling and want to learn about your options

  • Been homeschooling and would like someone to help with some areas

  • Not sure why there is a struggle or disinterest in learning

In my 30 years of teaching I have always incorporated and valued:
  • Building relationships with the students and their families
  • Looking at the whole person beyond educational needs to include emotional well-being

  • Seeking students' interests and including them in activities

  • Being collaborative with the students as well as the parents

  • Creating a relaxed, welcoming environment

  • Utilizing cognitive research - how the brain learns best

  • Using techniques to create new neural pathways and improve communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain

  • Understanding the importance of sensory regulation

  • Having frequent movement breaks

  • Troubleshooting and reevaluating often to keep things progressing

  • Incorporating Growth Mindset

  • Seeing schooling and education as much more than traditional coursework
